Financial Policy

Thank you for considering me as your therapist! 

To provide transparency, please review the following policies regarding fees and insurance:

Individual Therapy (Insurance Accepted)

I accept insurance for individual therapy sessions.  Because insurance policies and coverage can vary widely, I do not provide estimates or quotes. If you choose to use your insurance, please be aware that you are responsible for any co-pays, deductibles, or charges not covered by your plan. 

Couples & Family Therapy (Private Pay Only)

Couples and family therapy is offered on a private pay basis only. Most insurance plans do not cover couples or family therapy as it is not considered medically necessary by insurance standards. I do not bill insurance for couples or family sessions. Full payment is due at the time of service.

Why This Difference?

This policy reflects both clinical and insurance-related considerations. Insurance coverage is typically based on an individual diagnosis and medical necessity, which does not align with the goals and structure of relational or couples work. To preserve the integrity of this work and avoid insurance misuse, I require private payment for couples sessions.

• Individual Therapy: $150
• Couples Therapy: $150 
• Family Therapy $150
