Mental Health Assessments
Overview
Mental health assessments are comprehensive evaluations designed to better understand an individual's emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and psychological functioning. These assessments may help identify mental health conditions, clarify diagnoses, guide treatment planning, and provide recommendations for support, accommodations, or ongoing care. The assessment process incorporates clinical interviews, standardized measures, and professional interpretation of findings to ensure an accurate and individualized evaluation. The process consists of three parts; an initial consultation, testing administration, and feedback and results.
Initial Consultation
The initial consultation typically lasts approximately 60 minutes. During this appointment, we will discuss your concerns, review relevant background information, and determine the areas that may require further assessment. This meeting helps establish the most appropriate evaluation plan based on your individual needs.
Please note that if, during the consultation, it becomes apparent that additional testing or specialized evaluations are necessary and fall outside the scope of my practice, I may recommend referral to an appropriate medical provider, psychologist, or other specialist. The consultation fee remains applicable regardless of whether the assessment process continues.
Testing Administration
The assessment appointment generally lasts between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the nature and complexity of the concerns being evaluated. This session includes the administration of standardized assessment measures, clinical evaluation, and the collection of information necessary to support diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations.
Feedback and Results
The feedback appointment typically lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. During this session, we will review the assessment findings, discuss any diagnoses or clinical impressions, and go over recommendations for treatment, support services, or next steps. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain a clear understanding of the results and their implications.

Private Pay Rates
Initial Session: $150
Testing Administration: $1,000-1,500
Feedback Session: $0, but balance must be paid prior to meeting

- *UMR - I am in network but for testing it is considered "out of network"
